Rana Gill, Associate

Rana is an Associate Lawyer at Insight Law LLP; he joined the firm as an articling student in 2021, and in 2022 passed the bar. His practice is focused on Family Law and Real Estate Law.

He is passionate about Family Law and skillfully uses the powerful tools of negotiation and litigation to resolve the difficult issues arising from breakdown of families.

Rana can assist you with legal issues concerning divorce, division of family property, parenting, child and spousal support, and adult interdependent partner separation. He has successfully represented his clients in Provincial Court and the Court of Queen’s Bench.

Rana is dually licensed in India and Canada. His legal career began in 2015 practicing Family Law, Employment Law, and Intellectual Property Law in Chandigarh, India after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Panjab University – One of the India’s leading universities. He then proceeded to complete the NCA Exams required by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. In his early years of practice, he witnessed the damaging effects of prolonged litigation and conflicts on families and their children. So, he decided to dedicate his practice to bring a more collaborative approach to family law.

In addition to English, Rana is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu.
